You may be concerned that your organisation is experiencing high sickness absence levels.  If your average sickness absence level is more than 4 days per employee per year, you are losing money that we can help you to save. 

Or it may be that most of your people turn up to work as regular as clockwork but there are one or two who seem to always be off, treating sick pay as an entitlement to extra holiday.

And sadly, some of your most valued employees may suffer from genuine long-term sickness and you don’t know how to handle it in a fair and sensitive way, while balancing this with your organisation’s interests.

  • Proactively but sensitively support people with long-term health issues to return to work sooner rather than later
  • Where it is not possible to facilitate a return or reduce persistent sickness absence, managing the process of redeployment or ill health dismissal
  • Deal smartly with situations where employees go sick during disciplinary and grievance procedures
