Appraisal Training for Managers and Staff

For an appraisal process to have a true benefit and impact on the people involved and the organisation it needs to be consistent and aligned with the business goals and objectives. Above and beyond this it should be something that individual staff value, invest time in and take responsibility for.

We run two different appraisal courses, Staff Appraisal Training and Managing Appraisal Training. The overarching aim of both courses is to ensure that appraisal is always more than just a tick box exercise and that the time spent preparing for and conducting an appraisal is positive, constructive and supports the future sustainability and growth of the organisation.

1. Staff Appraisal Training:
Supporting staff to get the most from their appraisal through:

  • Planning their contribution to the appraisal meeting
  • Taking responsibility for their career and personal development

  • Understand the process of appraisal, their role and responsibility in the process
  • Understand how they can influence and manage their own career and personal development
  • Be able to participate fully in appraisals and supervision/one to one sessions through the year
  • Learn tips and tricks that maximise the benefit but minimise the time needed to be spent preparing for the appraisal meeting

2. Managing Appraisal Training:
