Managing Sickness Absence

Excessive sickness absence is a waste of resources and disruptive to the quality of services.  If your managers don’t have a proactive approach to supporting staff to maximise their attendance, you will inevitably bear unnecessary wastage.

The Real People Managing Sickness Absence training course is a highly participative one-day event which will give your managers the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to ensure staff attend work regularly, and return to work as quickly as possible after any long-term bout of illness.

Learning objectives

The course is based around a lively combination of taught input, group discussion, practical role plays and legal case studies.
